there was an incident when a human eye was found on the ground in that lane down there
another terrible story is when we were renovating the lifts,
parts of a person's skull was found when we were cleaning the lift shafts
Before ekhaya took over there were lane going through Hillbrow where people were mugged and rapped
John worked with ekhaya, and residental improvement program
The world ekhaya means at home
90% of building ekhaya has recovered are safe now
they have 24hours security and crime levels have dropped
These days it's rare to hear someone tell you that they have been robbed
the thugs have given up because of better security

This is the sentences comes out of the First video. From this, you can know that's not good city. It's the city in the Johannesburg. It's about highrise.Now you will know the background so from now on I'll talk about compare and contrast of John's building in Johannesburg and William's house in the Seoul, South Korea.

One video is about dirty things thrown out to window. People are throwing old things out of the window like firdge and old furniture and throwing up to the roof.  Theyjust trash it outside of their building. it's the problem because of the highrise because when it was small house. You can not throw trash because it is just your land. However I (William) live in the apartment but  we don't throw fridge,old furniture, trash  like that. I don't know exactly why this is different. I assume just here are more secruity and mare punish that when we trash our trashes we get a lot of bad word from our neighborhoods. I think they are trashing thinking it is okay
to trash because everyone else do it. I think it's kind of cigarette that they can't stop.

The second video which is about hijackers, the building is not safe. Hijackers came into home and get the building. Then, building is theirs. They stole the building to earn money. they earn money by fare that people who rent pays. Their goal is not make a good building so they don't have elevator. We need to use stairs to go up. also they don't pays a rent. It takes their money so they don't pay it. Finally it is not connected with place which gives water and electronics in 6 months. To compare with my home, our home is more safer.  If it is not safe our price of home will decrease. Also I never heard that one people came in to our apartment and say " NOW this is my house!" then kill the formal owner. Also in Korea we have laws. It is not obeying the law if we attacked others house and kill him or her and stole the house.  I don't know well ,but I think Johannesburg is not well developed country and police who capture who don't obey the law is not numerous.
